Ascent Trip ReportI loosely followed Bob Burd's track; I parked at a turnout on Chimney Basin Road right before the gate and bushwhacked up the steep north ridge. The ridge line is littered with trees and boulders, so I stayed just below it on the east and west sides for most of the trip. I approached the summit, which is a pile of boulders, from the west. It required some class 3 scrambling. I descended on the east side, which is class 2.
