Ascent Trip ReportLeft kennewick friday night, drove to mount thielsen trailhead, slept 3 hours, climbed thielsen, hollys ridge, drove to bend, across to burns, then up to steens mountain summiting this one about 9pm under a nearly full moon. With the drive back this was 1100 mile of driving weekend. Happy to revisit Steens Mountain, picked off a couple new subpeaks while I was up here. |
