| Elevation:||7115 ft / 2168 m|
Ascent Trip ReportLeisurely ascent up Ruth with Sue and Wendi. The mud gully was not bad at all and the views are excellent for the amount of effort we put in. The climb took 11:50, of which we were moving for about 7. The glacier is in prime shape and there are no crevasses. We roped up when going up and solo'd on the way down. We spent about 1:30 on the summit, practiced picket placements for about 1h at the base of the glacier, and took multiple breaks to enjoy the great views. The bugs weren't that bad, but they got a bit annoying during the descent.
