Ascent Trip ReportA rainy morning, but I decided to at least get to the trailhead and start. Once hiking (with headlamp), it was a bit foggy and mysterious in the forest down low, but eventually the rain quit. Higher up, there was snow on the Homestretch and the summit area. When I exited the Homestretch the summit boulder was not visible due to cloud/fog. I followed tracks in the snow to the summit boulder, confirmed I was there by the BM, and sat on top for just a minute or so before heading down. Coming down the Homestretch I actually slid on my butt over some of the rocks. Despite the iffy weather, I was far from the only person on the route.
