Ascent Trip ReportParked at: 44.2089552, 10.7252104. Hundreds of people around parking. Also a lot of people were going down because of constant thunders in valleys at the south and east from the peak. Approximately 15-20 km away. After checking wind direction i decided to hike anyway. At the summit storms come bit closer but never too close. They kept this nice distance from me. First part of trail is a short ski slope. Why it is always so boring climb ski slopes? Latter unpaved road/trail to the very top with a ugly military base at the summit. Observation desk, statue and something else.. Because of weather didn't waste much time on the views. Went same route down. |
