Ascent Trip Report

From the south end of Eagle Lake, I traversed above the east shore crossing a few snow patches. Climb was done in afternoon to take advantage of soft snow crossings along the east shore of the lake. At the NE end of Eagle Lake, ascend NE up along a series of cascading creeks to get around steep cliffs and gullies above. Then ascend SE and look for the obvious notch to get onto a flat bench at about 8,500 ft. From there it is easy slopes to the summit. Snow patches occur where it flattens out at 8,200 and 8,500 ft.
