Ascent Trip ReportCompleted the Korahusk Kiliak traverse. After climbing Korahusk we continued along the ridge. There is a lot of exposed scrambling on crumbly rock and once you get closer to Kiliak there are several sections of exposed fifth class moves. Overall a blast of a route and even though it was exposed I found a good number of horns and cam placements for protection. Would recommend bringing four to five cams size one and smaller. We botched the decent so I didn’t post tracks. If you find yourself in a waterfall death gully though you need to head farther to your right while descending. We headed out icicle creek. |
