Ascent Trip ReportI started at Sama Heights Resort at 7 am. After following the balcony trail towards the south summit for a while I left the trail to climb the main summit. Finding the way was difficult at some places.
I reached the road near the heliport and went straight to the military compound. The gates were open and I didn't see any sign of people, so I went on without taking pictures or breaks for drinking. At around 11:30 I reached the highest point (second radom building).
Unfortunately at that moment a guy came out of the building. I told him I ran out of water and asked him for some. He was very friendly and gave me a bottle. Then 3 more people came out. One of them (I guess the supervisor) was very strict and told me I had to leave.
I was happy I didn't get into deeper trouble with the military and quickly descended back to the resort. I returned at 2 pm. |
