Ascent Trip Report

Headed out to Twin Peaks from Gstaad road or the Alpine Meadows route on Summit Post. I found parking a bit past where the non-obvious trail starts. The gps coordinates aren't exact and I walked up and down the neighborhood a bit before asking a man where it was. It is right off Gstaad to the South and in between homes. He told me to make sure I veer right and I'm so glad he did! There was a subtle split in the trail and I initially ran past it. But I remembered what he said and turned around/ran down the right hand split. That eventually spit me out at a 3 way junction from there I also went right and up crossing a small creek run off. I eventually crossed a bridge and knew I was on the TRT. From there I took the TRT the entire way up, until I saw the small wood sign that had "Twin Peaks" etched into it with an arrow pointing right. The wild flowers were going off! So insanely gorgeous. The trail went up through the flowers and eventually ran out once it hit the talus. It is a short class 2 scramble to the top.
