Ascent Trip Report

if you start at night, do not deviate or try to shortcut to the right as there is a steep river canyon. i learned the hard way and had to eventually turn back. in the hut most people start to get ready at 9 pm, for the final ascend starting 11 pm, reaching summit for sunrise. some people drive up to 4800 or almost 4900m with snowcats, filling the air with petrol smell for everyone else. if your head hurts at 4000m, it should be better after resting well and long enough in that hut, costing about 10$, no reservation needed.
