Ascent Trip Report

Day One: Walked up in the morning from Ailefroide to Refuge Pelvoux. Weather was good, if not a bit on the hot side.

Day Two: From the Refuge, walked up towards the snow field. I was the last one to exit the hut at 03:30. Followed the other parties to the first glacier. Over the ridge and towards the Couloir.
The Couloir was snowy for the time of year, but good firn allowed a good accent.
Summited at 07:30.
Decended via the Couloir, downlcimbing with the Ice Axe. Then walked from the refuge back to the car in Ailefroide.

Weather was warm again. But open and clear.

My First Solo Accent.
