Ascent Trip ReportMet up with Ernie Scheuer and Jeri Siegel, plus Ernie's cousin John Rosenthal with his dog Sally, and Dana Swartz, a pleasant young woman.
We took a trail I'd never done. Ernie refers to it as the Vineyard Trail. No shade. Decided to stop after about 1500' gain (net; PB app adds ~1000' on rt for little ups and downs, which seems excessive). Apparently the point
I reached is called The Redoubt...so it was a successful ascent after all. The others continued to My Lukens summit and went down Haines Canyon. |
