Ascent Trip ReportRan up to Mt Lukens via Crescenta View Trail and down Haines Canyon Road. These trails need some pruning as the brush is starting to invade the trail space but trail is still easy to follow. My first time at Lukens. The peak isn't spectacular or anything since it has radio towers throughout, but the views of ANF to the east are spectacular. Been a while since I intentionally went for a trail run. Definitely felt slower than before. But gotta work up to it of course. There were a few bumps in the terrain with use trails to them on the way back and I wasn't sure if they were "peakbagging" worthy so I just went up them anyway. |
