Ascent Trip ReportStarted in Minden at 5000 ft at the trailhead and followed the trail by taking the first left, then hanging right until trail ends around 7300 ft. Followed the thalweg of the drainage on solid rock where possible and avoided the manzanitas. Very soft DG and steep for 1500 vertical feet up. It flattens out for the top 1000 ft and its an easy hike from here. Try to avoid the tree clusters. Final Calls 3 move near the top. |
