Ascent Trip ReportBegan at Upper Lehman Campground Lot. Took the Northwest Couloir, which had great, firm snow; with crampons/spikes. Traversed on large talus to Jeff Davis, down its Northeast Couloir; dropped off north side, then slight traverse right. Glissaded/Plunge-stepped down to the Bristlecone Grove. Crossed through the Bristlecone Pine Grove and rejoined trail (nearish Brown Lake) for a bit before snow forced us back off and through the forest to the Wheeler Peak Campground. Trail back down to Upper Lehman. Relaxed for the most part, not rushing, ample breaks. No big altitude issues. While we brought snowshoes, we did not use them.
