Ascent Trip Report

Gates were open all the way to the firebreak so a roller coaster hike of 4 miles total. There area a couple of steep sections. It's all old firebreak. A lot of the hike is actually gentle grade or flat on the ridge. Mother's Day 2020 during Covid-19. We saw two other couples coming out as we were going in. This is one of those peaks that is lower than your starting point. Good day, warm but not too hot. Saw several horned lizards. Very nice views. We also drove all the way to Burnt Peak and quick scramble to Little Burnt Peak. The road is passable in 2WD with descent clearance. Some Pics/
