It should also be noted that you might want to take the road down instead of following my shortcuts.

You do not need a NP pass to go here if you tell the ranger you’re just driving through to get to Glade Park
I went on to run the Black Ridge Trail after since the TH is only less than half a mile away off Rimrock Drive. Trail baggin!
Although I’d run part of this trail before, it was blanketed in snow so it was nice to experience it in a different season. This trail is one of the lesser visited in Colorado National Monument & is 5.5 miles one-way for anyone interested. However, Liberty Cap starts at nearly the same TH and is way cooler.
