On my way to the Cheyenne and Kit Carson County Highpoints I have tried to call
Jim Bledsoe cell: 719-740-1911 but no answer so I just left him a message asking for permission to get onto their land and to visit the two County Highpoints. As I was already on the Ranch Road close to their Property I saw a Car coming my way but did not stop. While I was getting out of my Car looking at the Monument on the left side the same car came back and stopped. It was Jim himself and we talked a little bit, told him my attention and asked for permission to visit. He had no problem with it and gave me permission and direction on how to get there best. He also mentioned the friendly Cows on his Ranch. No problem driving the Ranch Roads in dry Conditions. While the area is beautiful and easy to walk it is just difficult to seek out a clear Highpoint as everything seems to be the same level. Just wandered around for a few miles to enjoy the view and took a few pictures of the so-called Highpoints as per Peak bagger.
Happy Hiking, Josef
