Ascent Trip ReportStarted Sunday March 8 from Paradise. Skinned up to camp Muir and slept in the hut. We were the only one. A party of 2 arrived at 10PM... Weather was good, but windy in the evening at the camp.
Woke up at 3AM on Monday, started at 4AM. Temperature at the camp was -14F with windchild. Left the skis at the camp as it was too icy/firm to skin up. Started to get strong gusts of wind as we were ascending. It became hard to walk once we reached Ingraham Glacier. We found shelter and waited an 1 hour hoping it would calm down. It didn't, so we went back to Muir, got more sleep, and skied back down to Paradise.
