Ascent Trip Report

Kelley and I parked at a turnout located along Lake Wohlford Road, then hiked up an old, overgrown and sometime steep road to a better road that we saw a park ranger driving on. From there, we followed the better road and then the trail all the way to the base of the giant summit boulder; the summit boulder has a class 2+ sloping friction route up its west side to the top where the old lookout once stood. For our decent, Kelley and I followed the trail and then the main road to a road junction, turned right, then went down the road to Lake Wohlford Road (the start of the dirt road has a locked gate with a "No Trespassing" sign on it), which we followed back to the truck.
