Ascent Trip ReportAugust 2015- Bagged this peak while mapping for invasive weeds. 1st attempt started in High Creek and took the north trail. Two hills north of Doubletop we hit a monstrous summer thunderstorm. We retreated as fast as we could. It was probably the worst thunderstorm I ever hiked in. Second attempt we cheated. Used ATVs and went up the Boss Canyon ATV trail to the ridge. This is my favorite peak in the Bear River Range |
