Not gonna lie, the highlight of these peaks was letting my thoughts, legs, and music flow in sync for the long run back out through the vast desert.
Side note, Nopah Pk is much more exciting and aesthetically pleasing than Nopah HP. Make the long trek to the high point worth it by making it a twofer!
Very straightforward route from 2wd pull-out parking spot along the hwy.
An extremely faint, old 4wd road can be followed at times as you hike through the desert for a few miles to enter the mouth of the main wash. There is one mildly exciting dry fall to scramble up. Follow the rocky wash to the ridgeline, then to the saddle between the two Nopah peaks. Mentally map the route you will take to tag the other peak while following ridge to summit from the saddle.
