Ascent Trip Report

Set out to do a large loop and knock out 4 Nifty-90 peaks. Started at Mitchell Canyon and headed towards Olympia. Off to North Peak next. Then from North over to Diablo. Came back down to Prospector’s Gap and headed towards Eagle Peak. Twin Peaks and Mitchell Rock made for nice bonus peaks. Overall took us 10 hours to complete 16 miles and 5500 feet of gain. Great hike and had a lot of solitude most of the day. Lots of nice single track trail. Completed the last 2 miles in the dark and were the last ones out of the lot. Saw 3 deer and lots wild pig activity along the trails.
