Ascent of Mount Angeles on 2019-07-24Date: | Wednesday, July 24, 2019 | Ascent Type: | Successful Summit Attained | Peak: | Mount Angeles | Location: | USA-Washington | Elevation: | 6454 ft / 1967 m |
Ascent Trip ReportI started up the switchback trail to Victor Pass, via the ridge to middle peak, dropping 200 feet and back up to Mount Angeles dropping on the west side down to Klahhane Ridge trail back to Switchback. See Strava. Easy scramble across the ridge if you choose the route carefully.
Note: January 29,2022. This day I found a way to stay on ridge proper. There is no need to fall down the 200 feet as I stated earlier. It involves one class 4 move down a block. However, this move is not exposed since it ends on a flat section.
