Ascent Trip Report

This ended up being a three night/three day between August 28th to 31st, 1994. Left after work and ended up hiking and setting up camp in the dark. Distance about 3 kilometres for Nickel Offsett Road 1st washed out bridge. We hiked cross country for about another 5 kilometres the next day for a second overnight where we camped at a double lake or between two lakes. The next day we hiked the remaining 2 kilometres that took us through swamp land. For the return, we checked out a lake just East of the peak then made our way North to what we call Eastern Nickel Offsett Road (old unmaintained bush road, but still in good condition - nowadays with SxS and quads, the road is losing its width, not recommended for full size vehicles. I took my F150 in 2017 and it was pretty rough.) The return trip was about 11 kilometres, but easier because we followed the old road.
