Ascent Trip ReportFirst thank you to those that went before and made finding the route up to the top possible. Well done! We started our hike at Sandstone Peak parking lot. Well technically the parking lot was closed so we started at the side of road. There was some trail work being done on the section up to Sandstone which made hiking interesting. Once at the junction to 2880 we followed the use trail and wound our way to the west side and climbed to the top. Honestly i hiked by this last week and was not sure i was going to be able to scale the rock to the top. But it was pretty easy with some minor class two climbing. Tagged the peak, couldnt find a BM so because it was windy we tagged it, bagged it and got the heck out of there.
