Ascent Trip ReportHigh clouds today, but still some great views from the Imp Trail and from the limited views on the summit. The trail was packed down as it hadn't snowed in almost a week. More snow as we transitioned to the North Carter Trail, but microspikes were still sufficient. When we reach the Carter-Moriah Trail, it was obvious everyone was turning right to go to the hut. We were going left and it looked like no one had gone in that direction for at least a week. Snowshoes would have been handy, but for the 3/10 of a mile we were going, we managed without. No problems on the way down.
We started at 9am and finished around 3pm. 9 miles.
