Ascent Trip ReportTook a high clearance 4wd to our start location, but a low clearance of anything could have likely made it.
Was initially apprehensive about this peak because a friend had a bad spill here due to a rockslide. This peak is essentially one big rock crawling expedition. We went out and were able to pick some lines that seemed stable. I tend to prefer the drainages rather than the side hills in terms of rock stability in this area as the sand from the water flows seem to cement the rocks in place a bit. We stuck to the drainages when possible, and took to the hills when the drainages looked suspect. Overall, had a total blast.
