Ascent Trip Report

Hike up from Overen Road saddle just west of power lines. Very dense fog, visibility 100’. Griddled the Highpoint area just south of the tower with solar panels, stepped on all highest sagebrush bushes. Quite flat but I’m certain at some point I stepped on the highest point. Crossed 2 fences on hike up. Also found BM Devil just east of the Highpoint, just south of fence line. Scattered snow on ground, 33 degrees, no precipitation. Great winter Highpoint goal, but Overen Road is not maintained in winter sign says, luckily there was very little snow but be prepared.
