Ascent Trip ReportFrom the trailhead inside Pacific Valley Campground, we took a 4x4 road south, then a trail to the left and east starting at the end of a long fenced meadow with a sign that vehicles are not allowed to go further, then cross-country (starting from a sign stating the trail continues into the Carson-Iceberg Wilderness) to the left and northeast to Willow Flat, a large meadow filled with wildflowers, then northwest on the left side of the ridge to the summit avoiding the granite outcrops atop the ridge and patches of scree near the summit. |
