Ascent Trip ReportThis one has been on our list for awhile and I’m really glad to finally do it. Very enjoyable, straightforward trip and we didn’t see anyone all day. The roads looked to have been driven since the rains yesterday morning, but thankfully there was nobody around today. We were inside intermittent clouds all day and when we got to the top, it happened to be in clouds so we didn’t get any views, but on the way back, we were treated to wonderful views of the Black/Day ridge to the east. It’s really pretty, but unfortunately difficult to reach with many access issues.
In classic Iphone 6 fashion, my phone died on the way back so the track isn’t complete, but if you need to navigate the section outside the park, it’s sufficient.
