Ascent Trip ReportGood trail. Typical for me to have no views in VT in December. Snowing steady. Crusty snow in trail with an ice glaze on shallow buried rock. Icy creek crossing on stones was a bit of a surprise. No bridge.
Interesting mixed hardwoods, a pure hemlock stand of considerable size, big occasional Eastern White Pines poking through the canopy. |
