Ascent Trip ReportDrove in about 1/2 mile into Spanish Springs Cyn and parked. Went directly east up the steep-rocky slope to Peak 5355. This is not recommended as it is a high shooting range area, but today no shooters. From there went cross country south and tagged Fix BM, then south to shallow saddle and hit Peak 5586. Headed west back to the Cyn and returned north by the Canoe Hills Ridge and down the switchbacks. By this time there were a number of shooters by Peak 5355. With my wife Diana |
