Ascent Trip Report

First day
Gortsia to Apostolidis. Start 15:15, arrived 20:30. Crampons from anathema route up to Skourta. Lots of snow but good quality. Guided by moonlight (almost full wintermoon). Bivak in hut, blankets on table and sleeping bag on that not very comfortable. Temp 4c inside. Outside wolves howling at the moon (!).

Second day
Apostolidis to Mytikas. Down first for lower traverse below Stefani, then up the ridge a bit to the cairn. Along zonaria to the entrance of the Louki couloir. Couloir itself doable on the way up, more dangerous to downclimb. Wished I had more than just one axe (partner with ropes even better). Same way back, first to hut then all the way to Gortsia. 4 hrs to Mytikas and (slowly downclimbing) to Apostolidis, 4:10 from hut to Gortsia.

Gorgeous two sunny days, not a soul on the mountain except me.
