Ascent Trip ReportTook a different descent route that the local goat farmers use to herd goats between the upper plateaus and the lower village area. I actually met the old man who uses that trail pretty regularly from what I understood of our conversation. His English was about as good as my Arabic.
The Mclellan & Woodall tracks as well as Rob Woodall’s description for the ascent were invaluable. When I have more time in a few days I will clean up my track where it went haywire in a steep canyon on the ascent. I will also add quite a bit more detail about the route that I took.
