Ascent Trip Report

Access: I did this as a bonus high point during my ascent of Mount Lemmon. For access details, please see my Mount Lemmon trip report.

The Climb: After bagging Mount Lemmon, I made the short trip over to this high point (because why not?). It is just a simple 10 minute detour along an access road for the radio towers nearby. The high point seems to be right next to one of the comm towers, so I tagged it and got out of there.

My Thoughts: Not a destination in itself, but is easy to add on to a trip up Mount Lemmon. I agree with Dennis Poulin's claim that this is the ugliest wilderness high point in America.

I am always looking for climbing partners, so feel free to contact me if you want to team up.
