Ascent Trip ReportFinally was able to rent a Jeep capable of driving up Rocky Gap Road and finish this hike. Parked at the North Peak path and went up on that then over to the Bridge Mountain trail up to the summit. Everything was easy to follow going up but coming down between the peak and hidden forest I got off track numerous times and ended up doing some 5th class climbing, cairns and markings to stay on trail in that section are basically nonexistent. |
