Ascent Trip ReportI called owners Bill & Hillary Bledsoe, and they were welcoming as always. They have semi-retired and moved to a ranch house about 2 miles S of the main complex, and their sons Wil and Jim have taken over. Please call any one of them and request permission. Once granted, you don't really have to "check in" there; just proceed straight through the complex from the south side as usual, and wind up to the first fence and cattle guard. A Subaru can easily make it. There is a heavy presence of wind turbines, and this has necessitated an improved road grid.
Roam around and explore the equally high ground southeastward a bit, then drive NW a mile and then NE a mile on gravel roads until you cross back into the east side of the fenceline. Explore the ground by the fence, by the old windmill, and especially by the white picnic table a hundred yards+ to the east. This seemed highest to us.
