Directions to Crown King:

Take Exit 259 off I-17 (Bloody Basin Road)

0.0 Drive West on Bloody Basin Road (CO 73) signed "Crown King 24".
3.4 Turn Left onto CO 179.
6.3 Bear Right at Y onto unmarked CO 259.
7.3 Turn Right onto CO 59 towards Crown King.
8.2 Bear Left.
8.9 Enter Prescott National Forest.
11.0 Pass through Cleator.
24.5 Turn Right onto Main Street in Crown King.
24.6 Cross a bridge and arrive at the General Store.

Directions to Towers Mountain from Crown King General Store:

0.0 From the General Store head back towards Crown King Road.
Turn Left before crossing the bridge.
Cross a bridge and immediately Turn Left onto Towers Mountain Road.
0.7 Bear Left at Y, then Bear Right at Y.
0.8 Continue Straight to stay on Towers Mountain Road.
1.7 Bear Right onto FR 9238A.
3.1 Bear Right, FR 52C descends on left.
3.9 Bear Left to stay on FR 52C (signed).
4.9 Arrive at the Lookout.

Towers Mountain road is steep, rutted, and rocky in spots.
4WD and high clearance is required if driving to the summit.
