Ascent Trip ReportFor those who'd rather put less wear and tear on their vehicles and more wear and tear on their own bodies, Adams Canyon North Ridge is the way to climb Thurston. It's definitely steep, but actually has a nice trail going most of the way up it unlike Everest Ridge on Timp. You get great views of the Salt Lake and Antelope Island on the way up, and the summit offers great views of the rest of the wasatch and a surprising number of ultras- Kings, Nebo, Flat Top, Deseret, Pilot, and Ibapah. I enjoyed getting a different perspective of things from this part of the Wasatch, which is an area I haven't explored too much up til now.
