Ascent Trip Report

Parked in parking lot in Kitridge. Crossed bridge and found easy trail. Again the trail follows a tight ravine and with no sunlight the trail was awful but this time I left my spikes in the car. Even though it was a southern face and hike to the north the snow was melted out on the slopes but icy on the trail following the ravine. I carefully hiked up off the trail to keep from busting my arse and we found the summit of this small peak for the second time but this time with a new track from the south see GPS.

To avoid all the slush, ice, and mud, I took a very interesting track along a gradual ridge that ended up right at the sign where the hike starts BUT we avoided the ice and mud. In crappy conditions you can follow the ridge, get better views, be dry and there is a small herd trail to follow for most of it
