Ascent Trip Report

Yeah, you need to pay to get in to the TH for this one, but it is worth it. Excellent trail with a ton of fun scrambling along the route, likely more fun than the trail from Blue Ridge Pkwy, but I didn't hike that way. I would venture to say that this may be one of the more high quality scrambles in the SE. Either way, I really enjoyed it and highly recommend it. Pics
