Ascent Trip Report With that done I then drove us to Satus Pass and up the unimproved road that gets highest and closest to Indian Rock. After a hike along unmarked roads and through open woods and overcast-misty conditions, we found the BM at the south end of the big 5800' closed contour. We then set out to find the group of rocks 500' ene that are
said to be 10 ft. higher. We did not find them. Going north, Greg pulled us aside to visit Indian Rock 5819. We were impressed by the rock. We then set out along the "fenceline" to visit the 5822' elevation marked in the second 5800 closed contour 1.3 miles to the northwest. After that we headed back. I was feeling beat and getting
I did not claim the HP of Klickitat co WA until I revisited on Oct. 25 and found the group of rocks 500 ft. ene of the BM.
