Ascent Trip ReportNot the most enjoyable hike I've done. The footing seemed loose regardless if it was soil, scree or rocks; I tripped and slipped more on this hike than on the last dozen or so recently done. The only reprieve was when reaching areas that I could scramble, there the rock was somewhat better albeit crumbly.
Directions offered work well and this is an easy TH to reach, any SUV could make it. Also, as stated by others, the views from the summit are obscured by trees, but there are decent views to the west from the bump prior to reaching the summit. |
