Ascent Trip Report

This is an interesting little bump nestled between to gaps (saddles) and as I studied it I realized it was a classic 300 foot plus prominence peak that was not registered in LOJ as far as I can tell nor peakbagger so I had to go tag it. There is no trail or use trail up it but there is a dandy parking area at the southernmost gap where you go from the wildlife management area into the wilderness area. I wore orange vest and hat as I heard guns shooting in the area and was pretty sure I was back in the wildlife management area not the wilderness.

Not a spectacular real views but an easy bushwhack at this time of year with little to no briers yahhhooo! Steep in places but under 1 mile round trip and a little over 300 foot gain for your extra credit 300 foot prominence peak. Needs to get enterred though to count. Note I left from the higher of the two gaps.
