Ascent Trip Report

Traverse of Carmel, Bloodroot, Farr and Goshen, starting on Michigan Road and ending at Brandon Gap. Distance was 8.5 miles, with about 3000' elevation gain.

Our route was mostly off trail, with some distance on the Long Trail between Blooodroot and Farr. Saw a moose while nearing the summit of Farr. Tough hike, but enjoyable fall weather, great scenery and occasional views with all the leaves off the trees.
