Ascent Trip ReportDrove the road all the way out and parked in the parking lot. The summit is an easy scramble from the parking lot (<3 mins) on the large rocks. Pick the highest point/rock.
My original plan was to head to Petes Peak. It looked very steep and I was very skeptical looking from the distance. I made my way toward it anyway. When I got to the saddle, it was clear to me that the climb up Pete's would likely require ropes. I was solo and wasn't interested in taking that much risk, so I turned around and headed back to the car. Some other day (maybe).
