Ascent Trip Report

I got to AMC Highland Center around 2:30pm on 7/23. I checked in and luckily, I reserved 2 bunks room with someone else, but, this person never showed up. Around 3:10PM, I started hike from Webster-Jackson Trail. I arrived to Bugle Cliff around 3:45PM. The trail is very muddy but ascent is very gradual which made me to easy to hike-in under book time. I reached to trail junction of Mt Webster - Mt Jackson fork around 4:18PM then I got to summit of Mt Jackson around 5:25PM which took me 2 hours 25 min in total. In the mean time, it was poured a little bit and I decided to skip Mt Webster this time, although I originally planned to do loop hike. At the summit, I met solo hiker, Noah, who did Presidential Traverse by 1 day. We hiked out together to the Rt 302 together and it was fun. I came back to the parking lot at Rt 302 at 6:50pm.
