Ascent Trip ReportAt Naval Station Norfolk for the week. Decided to get a city/county High Point on a long run. This is really the only one within running distance of where I am staying. No car. Went out to the beach to touch the ocean to get a sea level to summit run for the southern contender. All three contenders can be reached with minimal brush bashing. For the northern pair, my route shows a way through the gate. Took 1hr 30min to cover the 9.9 miles running, including stops for pics and high ground exploration/confirmation.
