Ascent Trip Report

Perfect time of year for a good snowshoe to a summit. We had three inches of snow at the trail head and put on snowshoe about 5,500 ft. This trail can be done anytime of year that the trail head can be accessed. Trail was still easy to follow in a foot of snow and once we left the trail at around 7,200 ft the cross country section was very easy to navigate. The snow added some diffidently to the final scramble to the summit but overall the snow made the route more enjoyable.
